Lily transferred to us from a TNR advocate in Douglas county. Her owner moved away without her and she was not eligible to live in a community cat colony. Lily is outgoing and sweet. She is a lap cat that loves to watch TV with her person. She likes to be the "Queen Bee" and gets along with other cats as long as they know she is at the top of the pecking order. She was quite afraid of the dogs in her foster home, so honestly, she would do great as an only pet if given the option. Lily can sometimes get overstimulated and give a little "love nip" but she really just wants to be buddies with her person.
Lily is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you! FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives. They can also live safely with FIV negative cats. FIV is spread through severe bite wounds, so it is important that your kitties get along. To learn more about FIV, please read the articles under the Advice tab.
