Clarissa was rescued from an over-crowded animal control along with several other kitties. She was very afraid and couldn’t understand how or why she was there. She is a good girl that did not deserve to go through such a scary situation.
Clarissa is fairly reserved but has a loving personality. She needs time to adjust to new situations and once she feels safe, she will be a loving companion. She loves attention and will purr when you pet her and will listen with great interest when you talk to her. She would probably adapt better to a quiet home where there is not a lot of activity and noise. She isn’t a big fan of shelter life and doesn’t enjoy living with so many cats. While Good Mews was closed during our Shelter in Place, Clarissa was like a totally different cat in her foster home. She was very playful and outgoing. She loved being with her foster parents and would sit with them on the couch while they watched TV and would even snuggle up with them at bedtime. Clarissa is a fantastic companion that will bring a lot of happiness to your new family.
