Charlotte transferred to us from another rescue that had to shut down. Charlotte had a couple health issues when she first came to Good Mews. She had severe dental disease but has since had a dental cleaning and extractions. At this point, she should continue to have yearly teeth cleanings done, but her mouth is in a much better state. As far as chronic conditions go, she does have some eye drainage so her family will want to make sure they regularly wipe her face.
Charlotte is hoping none of these issues deter people from wanting to meet her! She really is a sweet, beautiful girl that has been through a lot and now just wants to settle down in a nice home with people that will love and care for her. She is affectionate and loves head-rubs. She’d make a fantastic couch buddy and would probably enjoy helping out with household chores. She’d also love quiet, cozy spots to curl up for long naps. Charlotte is a volunteer favorite because you can’t help but to love her silly antics. She is known as a door-darter, so it would probably be best that she does not go to a home with young children that could accidently let her out. She loves sitting in laps but sometimes she’d rather just sit in a lap but not be petted. If she is not in the mood for pets, she will nip. But overall, Charlotte is a fantastic cat that that will bring a lot of fun to someone’s home.
