Catherine transferred to us cat rescue that shut down. Catherine is a quiet and shy tortie who mostly keeps to herself in the shelter, but we know that she is a lovebug at heart. Foster parents report that Catherine is a constant companion, waiting at the door when you get home from work, or waiting outside the shower to make sure you are safe. Catherine is not much of a talker, but she is very comfortable making new human friends. We've also noticed Catherine having fun watching birds through the window. Before coming to Good Mews, Catherine had severe dental disease, which was treated in a procedure before transferring to us. Currently, Catherine only has her four canine teeth remaining, so a wet food diet or moistened dry food would be ideal. She is beautiful girl that is looking forward to finding a family to call her own. She will make an outstanding companion for someone looking for a quiet, laid-back kitty. Catherine gets along great with other cats and if you are looking for two kitties, she is good friends with Chasity.
Catherine is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you! FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives. They can also live safely with FIV negative cats. FIV is spread through severe bite wounds, so it is important that your kitties get along. To learn more about FIV, please read the articles under the Advice tab.
