Livingston

Good_Mews

Livingston, Lucia, Perry and Violet all came from a horrible situation in Florida . They were living at a cat sanctuary with over 400 other cats where they were supposed to be well taken care of until they found a loving home. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case. They were greatly neglected and some were used for medical experiments.  Complaints were filed and the sanctuary was investigated. Because of the horrible neglect and animal cruelty, the sanctuary was shut down. Some of the cats had to be humanely euthanized and the others found new homes or rescue. The University of Florida Vet School was involved with the case and contacted Good Mews to ask if we would be willing to take some of the cats involved in this situation. Of course we could! We told them we would be happy to help in any way we can! They then transported 4 wonderful cats to us!

Livingston is a real sweetheart that loves people. There were several feral cats living at the sanctuary and the people working on the case put all the feral cats in a special area. Because Livingston is a little shy at first, they thought he was feral so he was placed with them. But Livingston quickly made it clear he was not feral and showed everyone he loved people so he was removed and placed with the other kitties. Now Livingston is looking for a new home where he will be safe and loved. Please come meet him soon!

Update-Livingston is one sweetheart! This boy loves to be held and cuddled. Right now he lives in a special room with a couple other cats and if you are petting someone else, he will butt right in and say “hey, what about me, I want some love!” He wants nothing but attention and he sure deserves it. And he is such a beautiful cat. Anyone would be lucky to have him part of their family.
