Orientations

All new volunteers are invited to attend a general orientation session.  This orientation session will provide basic information and handouts on the many different opportunities and policies for the volunteer positions at Good Mews.

Once you attend the orientation, you will work with a member of the committee you signed up for to determine where your efforts can best be applied.  Please note that some positions require training before you can begin volunteering.

Orientations are normally scheduled on the first Sunday of the month at 2 pm at the shelter, but are subject to change.  Contact Lesley Zebrowitz for more information or to confirm an orientation date. - (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Lucy and her siblings were born in a volunteer’s home, to a pregnant mom rescued by Good Mews.  Her brother and sister have been adopted, but Lucy is still at the shelter.  Thanks to her extended time in the shelter, she has become very well-socialized.  She is sweet, calm, and affectionate. She loves to jump in people’s laps as soon as they sit down. She also has an independent side.  She is a beautiful girl with incredibly soft fur, and would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s home. Please come meet Lucy soon. She would love to find her forever home!
