All new volunteers are invited to attend a general orientation session. This orientation session will provide basic information and handouts on the many different opportunities and policies for the volunteer positions at Good Mews.
Once you attend the orientation, you will work with a member of the committee you signed up for to determine where your efforts can best be applied. Please note that some positions require training before you can begin volunteering.

Orientations are normally scheduled on the first Sunday of the month at 2 pm at the shelter, but are subject to change. Contact Lesley Zebrowitz for more information or to confirm an orientation date. - (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Sammy and Rose came to us from a heartbreaking situation. They lived in North Georgia with a couple that had many animals that they loved very much. The man is disabled and his wife just recently lost her job. Because they had so many animals and very little income coming in, they were unable to provide adequate food and shelter for them. We heard about the situation and offered to help out. Hopefully we will be able to find these sweet babies a new home soon.
Rose is a gorgeous girl that is also one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. She is a big talker and has a lot to say! I bet she is saying “Hey, take me home! I am fun girl! You will love me and we will be best pals forever!” Come meet Rose soon. I bet she won’t be here long!
