Memorials & Honorariums

Perhaps you have a friend or family member (feline or human) who you want to honor or memorialize through a donation to Good Mews.  This is a great way to recognize how special they are!  All donations are listed on a special insert in our quarterly newsletter, “Purrs & Prattlings”.  An acknowledgement card will be mailed to both you and the recipient (if applicable) of the donation.  Click on the paw on the side of the page to make an online donation!

Hannah and some of her friends came to Good Mews from a shelter in Alabama. That shelter was shut down and some of their former volunteers contacted us and asked if we would be willing to take in some of their cats. They had 80 cats to place and were struggling to find placement or homes for all of them.  We feel it is important that all rescues need to work together so we were more than happy to help them.  We went to pick up the kitties and they did very well on their long trip back to Good Mews. Now we have promised all of them that we will find them a wonderful new home to call their own.

Hannah is a very sweet girl, but is still a little unsure of her situation. She has gone through a lot of changes in the past few months so she is still warming up to us. I know once she starts to feel more comfortable, she will come around. She is a beautiful girl and deserves to have a nice family of her own. Once we learn more about Hannah, we will give updates!
