Kitty Keeper

Give long distance love to a special cat who needs you!

Kitty Keepers support cats whose chances of adoption are slimmer than their shelter mates and affords an opportunity to those of you who desperately want to adopt a homeless cat but cannot for various reasons.  For a monthly donation of $20 or more, you will receive a quarterly update, photographs and a personal note from your “kept” kitty.

The current cats in the program are Provolone and Belinda, Samantha and Louise, Jacob, Squeak, Maxine, Hurley, Mickel, Biloxi, Trixie, Tweety, and George.

Check out our catalog to learn more about these selected cats. Stay tuned as we will be adding new cats to the program shortly!

Miss Piggy

Good_Mews

Miss Piggy’s most distinctive features are her bright eyes and her short, curly tail. Although shy, she is starting to enjoy the occasional head rub, and playing with the laser light. All she needs is time, patience and some TLC - and she’s worth it!

Petsmart Charities

Good Mews has been awarded a $6,000 grant for the support and expansion of our foster care program.

Our Grant Committee applied for it last November and just received notification of the award.

This sum will go a long way toward caring for more abandoned and abused kitties in the coming year and we are grateful to the Petsmart Charities Foundation for their generosity and to our Grant Committee for their continuing efforts to secure funding for Good Mews.

This grant will enable us to rescue more cats and kittens from death row in animal control, and bring them to our Good Mews foster homes as space allows.
