Susan

Good_Mews

Susan is a sad girl right now. Her loving guardian passed away and she was brought to Animal Control. The daughter was supposed to pick her up, and Susan waited and waited, but she never showed up! When it was apparent she wasn’t coming for her, Susan was put on the list to be euthanized. A shelter worker, who fell in love with Susan, could not let this happen, so she found a foster home for her. Susan went into foster, but it was in a barn. Although is saved her life, this wasn’t an ideal situation for this senior girl. Susan was very depressed about losing her beloved mother and going from one scary place to another, she stopped eating. The foster mom was very worried about her so she gave her some wet food and thank goodness Susan liked that and started eating again!

Meanwhile, e-mails were going around trying to find a more suitable home for Susan, but sadly, nobody was offering to take Susan in! When we found out about this, we said we could not let her stay in the barn any longer! We agreed to take Susan and we are going to do all we can to make Susan feel better and find her a new loving home.

Despite all Susan has been through, she is a very loving girl. She loves to be held and cuddled and will purr up a storm for you. She is also very talkative! All Susan needs right now is a new loving family to call her own and I know she will feel so much better.
