Harold

Meet Harold. Harold was rescued from a hoarder/neglect case. He was living in a filthy fenced-in cage outside in the backyard of the house. Harold was adopted for a short time but the cat in the new house didn’t adjust well to Harold, so he is back at Good Mews. He is now the latest addition to our Kitty Keeper program!
Good_Mews
By becoming his kitty keeper, you can sponser him for a minimum $20 donation per month. When you become a kitty keeper you will receive periodic updates, cards and photos of the cat you choose. Check out the Kitty Keeper tab under the Donate section to learn more about this great program and all of the cats you can choose from! Or email for more information.

UPDATE: We just found out that Harold is in need of eye surgery to repair his eyelashes from turning inward. If you are thinking of choosing a kitty keeper cat and want to pick one who is in great need right now, Harold is a perfect selection!!

Tweety

Good_Mews

Tweety is a shy, yet playful young lad. Besides toys, he also comes running for canned food. Some engaging toys and his favorite food just might be the way to this fella’s heart! He’ll need patience and plenty of time to adjust to a new home.

I am a new member of the kitty keeper program!

Carrie Murtha, a Good Mews volunteer has started her own line of art work called the Snip Pets!
Good_Mews

What exactly IS a SnipPet?

It’s simple. A snip~pet is…
1-PET art created with SNIPS of paper, paint and clay.
2-a PET that has been spayed or neutered...the kindest SNIP of all!

Make sure YOUR pet is a SnipPet...it is the only way to stop pet overpopulation and the consequent euthansasia of millions of healthy, adoptable cats and dogs EVERY year!

From Carrie: “I will donate 10% of any art sales generated by you directly to your Spay/Neuter efforts. I always ask each customer how/where they heard about the SnipPets, so that i can easily track what group to donate to.  In addition, I am developing products featuring my SnipPet mascots, Stuart and Sunny SnipPet, and 100% of the profits from those items will go toward your spay/neuter efforts.

In addition, 10% of the selling price will go to the best cat shelter in the world, Good Mews. I will donate that percentage to their spaying and neutering efforts.”
