Sargent came to Good Mews because someone abandoned him! This had to be very scary for Sargent. I am sure he had no idea what was going on while he sat there, waiting for someone to find him! There is no telling what was going through his mind, and he is probably still confused, wondering why he is at the shelter, and not at home, with his family. But we are spending a lot of time with him, telling him we are his new friends and we are here to take care of him. I think he is starting to understand things are going to be different and he appears to be feeling better.
Update-Sargent is a very handsome, laid back boy. He loves attention and enjoys it when we pet him and give him hugs and kisses. He gets along fine with the other cats in the shelter and would do great in a home with a couple of other cats or in a home as only kitty. He does well with kids because a troop of girl scouts came by and he let one of the little girls carry him around! Sargent does have one little funny quirk..he has a foot fetish! He likes to play with people’s feet! Sargent is an awesome kitty and would make a great family member for most families. Come meet this handsome fellow soon!
Sargent is front declawed.
As always, we will be open every Saturday from 10am-4pm.
Starting in 2010, we will be open the 2nd ,3rd, and 4th Sunday of the month from 1pm-4pm.
