Perry

Livingston, Lucia, Perry and Violet all came from a horrible situation in Florida . They were living at a cat sanctuary with over 400 other cats where they were supposed to be well taken care of until they found a loving home. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case. They were greatly neglected and some were used for medical experiments.  Complaints were filed and the sanctuary was investigated. Because of the horrible neglect and animal cruelty, the sanctuary was shut down. Some of the cats had to be humanely euthanized and the others found new homes or rescue. The University of Florida Vet School was involved with the case and contacted Good Mews to ask if we would be willing to take some of the cats involved in this situation. Of course we could! We told them we would be happy to help in any way we can! They then transported 4 wonderful cats to us!

When Perry was rescued he was close to death, but the vets worked very hard to keep Perry alive. And thank goodness, because this is one special boy! Perry is very affectionate and loves people. He likes to sit in a lap to cuddle and will purr up a storm. He wants nothing more than a nice family of his own and for someone to love him. And we feel this sweet boy deserves it.
