Join us on Saturday, October 18th in the Grand Ballroom of The Westin - Buckhead for the 2008 Furr Ball! Since this Good Mews’ 20th Anniversary, we are encouraging guests to “come as you were” in 1988! There will be 80’s music and displays and photos of past and present residents. Ricky is a sweet, energetic boy who likes to stay busy. He is not one to sit still for long. He loves playing with all sorts of toys and he would be happiest in a home with another young feline friend to play with. Perhaps one of his brothers, Miquel, Angelo or Sergio could go home with him too!
Petsmart Charities
Good Mews has been awarded a $6,000 grant for the support and expansion of our foster care program.
Our Grant Committee applied for it last November and just received notification of the award.
This sum will go a long way toward caring for more abandoned and abused kitties in the coming year and we are grateful to the Petsmart Charities Foundation for their generosity and to our Grant Committee for their continuing efforts to secure funding for Good Mews.
This grant will enable us to rescue more cats and kittens from death row in animal control, and bring them to our Good Mews foster homes as space allows.
