Charity Badge
Good Mews teams up with Kevin Bacon and his great idea. He formed a new charity Six degrees to get people to connect with different charities. The idea is to create a Charity Badge for people to donate to as well as pass it along to six people. Hopefully those 6 people will pass it along to 6 other people etc, etc!

Petsmart Charities
Good Mews has been awarded a $6,000 grant for the support and expansion of our foster care program.
Our Grant Committee applied for it last November and just received notification of the award.
This sum will go a long way toward caring for more abandoned and abused kitties in the coming year and we are grateful to the Petsmart Charities Foundation for their generosity and to our Grant Committee for their continuing efforts to secure funding for Good Mews.
This grant will enable us to rescue more cats and kittens from death row in animal control, and bring them to our Good Mews foster homes as space allows.
