Give a shy cat a chance!

When Cakes, Stephanie and BoBo read the news on the Good Mews web site this month regarding Nutmeg, Lucy & Linus it painted a picture of them not so long ago living at Good Mews before they found their forever home.  All three were lucky and were adopted together.  Like Nutmeg, Cakes lived at Good Mews since she was a kitten.  She was adopted but returned two times due to her behavior.  She found her forever home when she was eight and is loved for why she was returned – her “Tortie-tude”. Like Lucy and Linus, Stephanie and Bobo were one of the many Good Mews bonded pairs which required they be adopted together.  They are very bonded and BoBo relies on Stephanie to make him feel secure because he is extremely shy.  They celebrate Valentine’s Day all year long and have a true love affair. Cakes, Stephanie and Bobo want to put a shout out to all potential adopters to see if they can find forever homes for Nutmeg, Lucy and Linus.  If luck is on their side all three will find a forever home together like they did. 

From a human perspective one of the most rewarding experiences in life is to have an opportunity to adopt an animal that is broken, watch them flourish and finally be at peace.  It is human nature to want to take the easy way throughout life but if you take the road less traveled it just may lead to an amazing experience like the story of Cakes, Stephanie and Bobo.

ADOPTED!!

Beetle is a handsome little fellow that is very affection and just wants a warm lap to curl up in. He loves people and can’t get enough attention from them. He also loves his kitten friends and enjoys running and chasing with them. Beetle is social and would do great in just about any household. He loves being at Good Mews, but he would like it even better if he had a home to call his own.
