Tripp's Happy Ending Story

I adopted Henri (formerly known as Tripp) on Valentine’s Day of this year, and he’s certainly made my apartment his own. He loves to cuddle so much it’s hard to get him to hold still for pictures.

There were a few people that didn’t believe me/were confused when I said I had adopted a cat with 3 legs and crossed eyes; but then they meet him and see how sweet and beautiful he is and then they know why. (Even my friends who aren’t cat lovers can’t help but love on him.) The first time he went to the vet, the assistant came into the room as he was being examined because she “just had to see this beautiful cat in person”.

His lack of limbs doesn’t stop him from getting around though. One of his favorite things to do is hop up on the ledge of my screened in patio and just look for hours. He’s such a good boy and so much fun to have around. I’m so glad I got to give him a loving home.

Rose's Happy Ending Story

My husband and i adopted Rose on 4/18/10, we wanted to share our happy story with you.  Rose has been a wonderful addition to our family.

Milo our 7 year old orange tubby was not to happy about her, but it only took two weeks from Rose ignoring him and him finally accepting her.

She has brought joy into our lives, she is the sweetest girl and follows mommy like a little duckie all over the house.  She even sleeps on mommy’s chest some times for a good half hour.  What a great choice we did, we couldn’t be happier.  She waits for us together with Milo behind the garage door when we come home every night from work.  Our living room has become her playground and she loves spending time in our sun room with Milo during the day, seeing the squirrels or hearing the sound of birds.  We are attaching a few pictures of our lovable Rosie, thank you for giving us the chance to be a part of her life.

We love her and now we don’t see our lives without her in it.  You guys are doing such a great thing and we have told all our friend and family about your shelter.
Thank you again.

Cherise's Happy Ending Story

Thank you Good Mews for the wonderful addition to our family! We adopted Cherise on May 8th. She has adjusted so well to her new home and has quickly become “Queen of the castle”!

She loves to chase her toys across the hard wood floor and when she needs a rest, she joins Dad in his favorite chair.

She keeps a watchful eye on the neighborhood and enjoys quiet moments listening to the birds out her window.

She has brought so much love and joy to our family! Thanks again Good Mews for saving the lives of so many cats so they can become beloved members of a family!

Good_Mews

Lucy and her siblings were born in a volunteer’s home, to a pregnant mom rescued by Good Mews.  Her brother and sister have been adopted, but Lucy is still at the shelter.  Thanks to her extended time in the shelter, she has become very well-socialized.  She is sweet, calm, and affectionate. She loves to jump in people’s laps as soon as they sit down. She also has an independent side.  She is a beautiful girl with incredibly soft fur, and would make a wonderful addition to anyone’s home. Please come meet Lucy soon. She would love to find her forever home!
