Description

Penguin came to Good Mews after he was seriously injured. We think he was hit by a car. He required many weeks of cage rest because he could not even stand! Once he was feeling better and could walk, he was released into the main shelter. He was happy to be able to finally walk around, but I don’t think he was very thrilled with all of the other cats he had to share his space with! So Penguin likes to keep to himself, lounging in a big cat bed. As a result, he is often over-looked on adoption days. But I know this sweet boy wishes for a loving family. He likes people, but never walks up to them, asking for attention. What he will do is walk towards you and stop a couple feet from you and just sit. That is his way of asking you to come pet him! And once you start petting him, he loves it! I really love Penguin and I hope he finds his forever home soon. He would make a great only cat and he doesn’t ask for much. He would also do fine with one or two other cats.

Mickel

Good_Mews

What is Mickel’s favorite thing in the world? Kittens!! Mickel would make the perfect foster brother. If you have kittens and are overwhelmed, then Mickel is the man to help you out! He is often found sitting outside the kitten room, playing footsies under the door with all the babies. I bet he could sit there for hours!
OK, so maybe it will be hard to find him a home where he can play foster brother, but I am sure he would be happy just having a home! Mickel is often over-looked because of his shyness. But like all shy cats, if given loads of attention, he will surely come around. If you would like to have this beautiful boy in your life and are willing to give him time, please come meet him soon. And if you are also looking to adopt a kitten or two, that would thrill him to death!

I am a member of the kitty keeper program so even if you cannot adopt, you can sponsor me!
