Description
Ashley and Zweena came from a very loving home, but their mother must go into an assisted living because she is very ill. She loved her kitties very much and took good care of them. She rescued them from a horrible hoarding situation and provided them with the loving home that they deserved. She wanted to make sure they found a new loving home, so she contacted us, in hopes that we could help her. We told her we would be more than happy to help her and her babies. We recently took in Sunshine and Ms. Smokey, who already found a wonderful home together!
Zweena is a darling girl that is a bit confused as to why she is at the shelter, but I think in time she will be OK. Her mom describes her as very playful and affectionate. I think once we start spending a lot of time with her she will start enjoying her time with us. But she is such a doll, I don’t think she will be with us long.
Once we learn more about Zweena, we will give updates!

Have you ever had a friend who you really liked and got along great with? You laughed, hung out and had a good old time. Then all of a sudden he got all moody and started ignoring you or lashing out at you for no reason? You later found out he had a hard time trusting people and when he got close to them, he got scared and pushed them away. Well, it is not only people that have trust issues. Animals can also be afraid to let people in, and that is how Tigger is. Tigger has had a few people in his life that he really cared about and trusted, but they have let him down. So now he has a hard time trusting them. He is a very lovable cat that wants attention and someone to care about him, but when he starts to feel like they are getting too close, he will sometimes get moody. He doesn’t mean any harm by it, that is his way of just protecting himself. But Tigger really does want a stable home and I know in time when he starts to feel secure and knows his new person is never going to leave him, he will begin to trust. It is just going to take that special person to give him the time he needs and let him be who he is.
Like I said, Tigger really is a lovable cat that likes to sit in laps and will rub his face all over you. He likes to sleep with is favorite person and check out what is in the fridge when you open it! He also has a playful side and enjoys the laser light.
He will need a quiet home with no kids or other animals. If you think you are the right home for Tigger, please come meet him.
A generous donor has paid for Tigger’s adoption fee!
