Vixen and two of her friends were living outside in an apt. complex. A kind family was feeding them during the warm season, but when it started to get cold, they started to worry about them. They brought them to Good Mews in hopes that we could take them in and find them a safe, loving home. Thank goodness we had room at the time so we took in these three adorable kitties. We would hate for them to be out in this harsh winter. Hopefully a new, loving home can be found for them soon. They have never had a home before and I know they would love it!
Vixen was very nervous and confused when she first got to the shelter. She kept yelling, demanding to know why she was there. I talked softly to her, and told her she was there because it was cold and dangerous outside and she needed to be safely indoors where it was warm. And that she was also there because we were going to find her a nice forever family. She didn’t seem to care and still yelled at me. I gave her some time and when I came back a week later to see her, she calmed down and told me she was really excited about this forever home I told her about! Vixen is a charming little girl that is chatty and she enjoys being petted, but not so much near her head. She likes to be petted on her back and will roll around and do the elevator butt.  She is a nice little girl and I think she would be a very entertaining friend to have around.
