Jessie

Jessie and her friends came from a home where they were very loved, but unfortunately, they lost it at no fault of their own. Their family works for a church, and also lives on some property owned by the church and when a new board took over, they told the couple they had a new policy where pets were not allowed. So they were forced to find new homes for all 12 of their wonderful cats, and they had a certain amount of time to do so! Because one of the family members is disabled, they had no choice. They could not afford to lose their job or home. They worked very hard to find loving homes or rescues for their babies, but it is really hard finding homes for 12 cats. When we heard about the situation, we called them and offered to take four.  These four cats are wonderful kitties, but right now they do not understand why they were forced to leave their loving home where they have lived their whole lives and had to leave behind their parents and other siblings. We know they miss them very much. Nothing will ever replace the loving parents they had before, but we will find them new families that will love and care for them just as much.

Jessie is a darling little girl that is scared and unsure of her situation right now. When I pet her, she does purr, so she does enjoy attention. Her mother said she is shy around children and will hide from strangers, but she is very affectionate to her favorite person. She loves to be stroked on the side of her cheek and neck and from the top of her head to the end of her tail. She is also playful and likes rattle toys. With some time and patience, Jessie will make a wonderful addition to a special family. Once she gets to know you, she will crawl into your lap for a snuggle.  Jessie has a darling baby face and is so deserving of a good home. A quiet home would be best for Jessie.
