Billie Holiday and Nina Simone are two beautiful cats that can’t wait to find their new home.
Billie and Nina were abandoned years ago at the Fernbank. An employee was able to provide them with a loving home for several years, but she fell on hard times and recently lost her home. She contacted her friends at the Fernbank and asked if they were able to help. We were contacted and since we had room, we said we would be happy to help find these ladies a new home!

Billie is a very sweet, quiet girl that wants nothing more than a new family to call her own.  She loves people and enjoys being brushed and cuddled. She doesn’t seek out attention at the shelter, which means she is overlooked on adoption days. But when people spend time with her, she really enjoys it. She is a gorgeous cat that would make a wonderful companion. She really misses having a loving home with a normal family routine. I know if she could have a family again she would be so happy. Is there anyone out there that can make this sweet girl’s dream come true?

Good Mews Weekend Adoption Hours

We are open for adoptions every Saturday from 10am-4pm.
We are also open the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday from 1pm-4pm.
