Description
Poor Peaches was found wandering around a parking lot, all alone and sick! That must have been very scary for her. I know I would be scared if I was in that situation!
Thank goodness someone found her and we had space open at Good Mews. We nursed her back to health and she is feeling much better. She is also very happy to be safe in a comfy office. Yes, Peaches has her own office! She is such a Diva she said she did not want to share her space with others, so we accommodated her needs and she now lives in her own office. But an office is only so big and I know she would love to have a whole house to herself with lots of windows to look out of. If you would like to share your home with this feisty girl, come by and meet her. Oh, and since Peaches is such a Diva, she will only share her home with humans, no other cats, thank you very much!
Update-The staff has started letting Peaches visit the other kitties in the main shelter during the day and Peaches does great! She has been getting along with everyone so we feel Peaches would do okay going to a home with one other cat. But she still wants to be treated like the queen of the household!
Peaches has taken a temporary job as an office manager at a vet clinic while theirs is on vacation. If you are interested in meeting Peaches, please email our adopt mailbox at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Winston is a very sweet boy that is so happy to now be safe inside with people that care about him. He has gone through a very scary time and now he can sit back and relax and sleep peacefully! Winston was living outside in a neighborhood and was trying so hard to find someone to take care of him, but people were pushing him away and being mean to him. When he would approach the people that lived in the neighborhood, asking for food, shelter or love, they yelled at him and told him to scat or kicked at him! Can you imagine? He became so scared and finally realized his situation as hopeless, he started hiding under bushes. One lady in the neighborhood saw what was going on and it made her sad, so she sent out a plea for help. Good Mews found out about the situation and jumped into action! Our shelter manager contacted the lady and went to the neighborhood to get Winston. When Winston saw her he crawled out from under the bush, gave her a meow and sat down beside her. I think he knew she was there to help him. So now Winston’s nightmare is over. He is a little on the skinny side right now, but we are going to fatten him up and find this guy a good home. He is so nice and just loves people. He likes attention and will purr when you pet him and will push his head against your hand in appreciation of your kindness. I think Winston would make a great friend for someone. Cats that go through such hardship are so happy to get a loving home that they pay you back with so much love.
