Description
Springie is a sweet, petite little lady that would like nothing more than to be your best friend and companion. Springie is often over-looked on adoption days because she is a senior and she has slight medical issues. But nothing major! We are hoping some day someone will walk in the door and fall in love with Springie and not care about any of these things. She really deserves a home and family to call her own.
Springie’s favorite thing to do is to perch herself in high places like a tall scratching post so she can see all the action going on around the shelter. So whoever takes her home, must have a tall scratching post for her! Please come meet this sweetie soon!

Bongo is a sweet, shy girl who we all wish could find a home to call her own. You see, Bongo does not know what a “home” is. “Home” to Bongo is the shelter. She came to Good Mews as a kitten in 2003 and has never been adopted. The only family she has ever known is the staff and volunteers at Good Mews. We all love her dearly, but our only wish is for her is to have her own family to love her. She deserves to have her own windows to look out of and watch the birds, a big bed to jump up in at night so she can cuddle with her special person, and someone to look her in the eyes at the end of the day and say “I love you”.
Because Bongo is so special, her family is going to have to be special. They are going to have to accept Bongo for who she is. She will take a while to adjust to her new home but with a lot of patience and understanding, I know Bongo will flourish!
As always, we will be open every Saturday from 10am-4pm.
Starting in 2010, we will be open the 2nd ,3rd, and 4th Sunday of the month from 1pm-4pm.
