Poor Rosie just cant catch a break! We rescued her from a hoarding situation a few years ago, and when at the shelter, she was a little shy but loved attention. She never asked for it, but didn’t complain one bit when someone gave it to her. An adopter came in and fell in love with Rosie’s sweet nature and adopted her. But sadly a couple years later, she was returned because the guardian was not well, and Rosie wasn’t either. Since Rosie has been back, she has been pretty sad because she doesn’t know why she came back. She couldn’t help she was sick. Rosie’s health is better now, but not her heart. Her heart is still broken and it will take a lot of love and attention to mend it back together. What would make Rosie the happiest kitty in the world is a home with someone that will cherish her and give her all the love and attention she deserves.

Rudy and some of his pals were brought to the shelter in a sealed cardboard box. There was no way we were going to turn them away, knowing their fate wasn’t going to be a happy one.
Apparently they were all left behind in their home and when some contractors showed up to work on the house, they found the abandoned kitties.
There is no way you can walk by Rudy without stopping and giving this little guy a hug or chin scratches. He is super outgoing and loves people. He really cannot get enough attention. I have no idea how he stayed in the box he was brought to us in because he is always on the move. Rudy has a lot of living to do and he cant wait to find that forever home he deserves.
If you are looking for two outgoing cats, Rudy and Lynx would make a wonderful pair!

Are you looking for a gorgeous girl with a feisty personality? Well, come by and meet Russia! She may come across as grouchy, but she just isn’t fond of all of the other cats at the shelter .She feels she needs to be queen kitty and should not have to share her space with a bunch of other felines. Once in a home, I am sure she will feel much more relaxed and a charming personality will emerge. She will probably always have a feisty side to her, but that is OK. She deserves to be treated like royalty. So if you are looking for a kitty that you can cater to and treat like a princess, then Russia is the one for you!

Saban and his siblings were born outside and lived their first several weeks on the porch of an abandoned home. Then one evening the kittens ventured over to the house next door to play on the deck. Lucky for them the house belonged to a Good Mews volunteer who got them indoors and fostered them until there was room at the shelter.
Saban started out as the smallest of the litter but is now a big, strapping boy. His silky black coat is sprinkled with a few white hairs throughout. Saban loves to play with feather and wand toys and is always up for a chase and wrestle with one of siblings. And Saban has a secret. While he won’t roll over and give you his stomach, he does love a good belly rub. If you start at his chest and work your way down, he’ll soon flop over on his side and stretch out. Why don’t you come meet him and give it a try?

Poor Sabrina found herself in a scary situation, something no kitty should have to go through. Sabrina is still a young girl, and she found herself living all alone in some bushes behind an empty house, trying to survive and take care of herself. We don’t know if the house she was living behind was her previous home, or she just found her way there. But regardless, she was all alone, scared and lonely. Thank goodness someone was moving into the home and saw her. He started to feed her, and then when he noticed she had a severe wound on her side, he knew he had to find help for her. We were contacted and we went right over and rescued little Sabrina. She was very happy to have her wound treated, and be safely indoors where nothing could hurt her again.
Sabrina is a little nervous around new people and places because she wants to make sure she can trust you first. Once she does, she is a very sweet girl. She would love to have a home to call her own. Once she feels safe, she will be a lovely companion. Are you the one to give Sabrina the loving home she longs?

Saphra is a super sweet girl that sadly lost her home when her guardian had to move in with someone with a disability so she could care for her. The person with the disability is allergic to cats so Saphara couldn’t come along. Saphra was adopted from Good Mews when she was a kitten so she is a little confused as to why she is back at the shelter. It is always hard on the cats that come from loving homes because they probably think they did something wrong and they don’t understand why they were in their home one day and in a cat shelter the next. So we try to give them a ton of attention so they feel better and hope that a new loving home comes along soon.
Saphra is a beautiful gray cat that is very loving. She will be shy in a new environment, but once she gets to know you, she will be a loyal companion. She will probably also be shy around strangers once in a new home, but a lot of cats are like that!
When I first went to visit with Saphra she was sitting in her tent bed. She kept popping her head up and down like a jack-in-the-box. When I started petting her she instantly started purring and rolling around. After awhile she started standing on her head! She really is a funny little girl. So if you are looking for a sweet, quiet kitty to join your family, then come and meet Saphra.
