Alvin is the ultimate lap cat. He had a rough beginning at Animal Control and it looked like he had his share of fights outside at one point. This boy, however is not a fighter.... he is a true lover. Alvin is so sweet and lovable that his life was spared at animal control for several months until they couldn’t keep him anymore. We saw him and he came to GM!

Petsmart Charities
Good Mews has been awarded a $6,000 grant for the support and expansion of our foster care program.
Our Grant Committee applied for it last November and just received notification of the award.
This sum will go a long way toward caring for more abandoned and abused kitties in the coming year and we are grateful to the Petsmart Charities Foundation for their generosity and to our Grant Committee for their continuing efforts to secure funding for Good Mews.
This grant will enable us to rescue more cats and kittens from death row in animal control, and bring them to our Good Mews foster homes as space allows.
